Also known as care services, allows individuals to receive personalised care in the comfort of their own homes
Child care
Otherwise known as day care, is the care and supervision of a child or multiple children at a time, whose ages range from two weeks of age to 18 years.
Hospice
A type of health care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill patient's pain and symptoms and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs.
Long-term care
A variety of services which help meet both the medical and non-medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability who cannot care for themselves for long periods.
End-of-life care
End-of-life care refers to health care provided in the time leading up to a person's death.

We know that this is a new term in the care industry of Nigeria. However a nursing home, Skilled
Nursing Facility (SNF) or Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU), is a place of residence for people who require
constant medical care and have significant deficiencies with activities of daily living. Residents
include: the elderly and younger adults with physical disabilities. Adults 18 or older can stay in a
nursing home to receive occupational and other rehabilitation therapies following an accident or
illness.
Skilled nursing care, though often associated with seniors, does only apply to seniors. There could
be need for long-term nursing care due to an injury or illness, or short-term concentrated
rehabilitation while recovering from a surgical procedure or acute medical condition. GNCC provides
skilled generic healthcare services 24hrs/day. Regardless of the nature or complexity of the medical
care required the aim is to residents to their original living situation as soon as possible.

Certain factors necessitate Respite care & short-term stays in an institutionalized home that offers
skilled nursing care and a warm welcoming environment. Such as:
- Family caregivers need a break or have travel plans.
- Seminars need supervised attention on a short-term basis.
- Seniors considering an independent or assisted living community may want to try out the experience themselves.
- Seniors need adult day programs.
- Rich mix of amenities
- Exceptional dining
- Housekeeping services
- Scheduled local transportation
- Skilled nursing care and assistance with daily living activities as needed.
The services offered include:
GNCC offers day programs for seniors who need supervising and stimulation doing the day while their
primary caregiver is at work or otherwise occupied during daytime hours. Instead of staying at home,
seniors can come to the senior living center and enjoy social interaction and recreational
activities in a safe and supportive environment.
